HAGAN FILES FOR 135th

February 26, 2008

Nancy Hagan filed paperwork this morning to be the Democratic candidate for the 135th. Hagan said her reasons for running are to bring about meaningful change to our state and to stand up to the special interests in Jefferson City.

"For too long our representative has been a rubber stamp to the failed policies that have created the current financial problems we face" Hagan said. "Instead of taking on tough issues like health care affordability and education funding, he has caste his lot with whatever leadership has put in front of him. This has to stop. We need someone who represents the ideals that make south Springfield a great place to live."

Hagan pledges to be a strong advocate for her friends and neighbors, and will work across party lines to ensure that Missouri regains its status as one of the best places to live, work and raise a family.
